Dr. Elena Crespin is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for adults. Some of her practice specialties include (but are not limited to) Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Insomnia, and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Crespin’s style of practice uses Evidenced Based Treatment, prescribing up-to-date psychiatric medications in addition to lifestyle modification like nutrition, exercise, and stress management. She believes in the mind, body, spirit connection, as we are made up as a whole person and not just a series of parts.
Dr. Crespin completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at New Mexico State University after being a Registered Nurse for 15 years. Over her course of nursing practice, she has had the privilege of working in many areas, including psychiatry, post-surgical care, gastroenterology, primary care, long-term care, and in addiction medicine. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups and hopes that she can show her patients that they are capable of working through their mental illnesses and can still experience a good quality of life.
Elena’s hobbies include reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her partner and their dog, Zeke. She loves all sports and enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite way to destress is to dance and listen to music while cooking a great meal.
