Does Sage provide health care coordinators?
Sage does not provide health care coordinators just yet, but we hope to offer them in 2021.
How do I refer my patient to you (usually a discharge coordinator or case worker at a clinic or hospital) ?
You can refer patients to us by calling our intake department or entering the patient’s information on our provider referral page.
Do I need a Referral to start services with Sage Neuroscience?
No, you do not need a referral to receive treatment from us.
What is the address?

What insurance do you take?

Sage Neuroscience Center accepts most major insurance plans. However, certain providers cover Primary Care and Behavioral Health Services, while others do not. For a complete list a specific service exceptions, please visit our Insurance Providers Accepted at Sage page.

Do you operate on a sliding scale for payments?
No, we do not operate on a sliding scale for payments. Our skilled Billing Associates can work on setting up a payment plan that works for you. If you do not have insurance, you can access individual therapy through our Community Access Clinic. Contact us for more information.
Can I do a payment plan (for self pay)?
Yes, you can do a payment plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your appointment 24 hours before your scheduled time to avoid a cancellation fee of $50.

What age groups do we see here at Sage Neuroscience?
This depends on the service. Patients ages 1 and older can receive treatment from our Primary Care Clinic. We provide psychotherapy for people 12 years and up. Medication management patients must be older than 4 years of age.
What type of treatments are available at Sage?
Sage Neuroscience Center offers the following services:

  • Individual and couples therapy
  • Child and adolescent therapy
  • Medication management for both children and adults
  • Group therapy (SUDS IOP, BHIOP, ABHIOP, Aftercare, Seeking Safety, and DBT)

Do you offer inpatient services?
No, Sage Neuroscience Center is not an inpatient facility.

Behavioral Health Questions:

What type of Counseling services do you offer?
We offer the following counseling services:

  • Individual psychotherapy
  • Child and adolescent psychotherapy
  • Group therapy (SUDS IOP, BHIOP, ABHIOP, Aftercare, Seeking Safety, and DBT)
Do you offer couples counseling?
Yes, however, we are currently at capacity and not taking new patients for couples counseling at this time.

Do we offer Postpartum Therapy?
We do not offer Postpartum Therapy at this time.
Do you offer anger management?
We do not have a specific program for anger management but it could be a therapy treatment goal.
Do you offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)?
Yes, we do have a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Service. Learn more about this special drug-free depression treatment here. Please note that although Medicaid covers this service, most private insurance policies do not cover the cost of TMS as it’s considered an alternative treatment. Check insurances accepted at Sage for more information about services covered.
Do you do EMDR?
Yes, we do EMDR Therapy here at Sage Neuroscience Center.
What does the Therapy waitlist look like?
Due to the large demand, we have decided to close our waiting list. If you would like to see a list of alternative providers, please request our local list and we’ll update you if anything changes at Sage.

Do you have a Neurologist or do Neuropsych evaluations here?
No, we do not do Neuropsychological evaluations at Sage.
Do you do 'brain scans' ?
No, we do not scan your brain.
Do you help with memory loss?
No, we can not help with memory loss.
Do you offer Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) ?
No, we do not do ECT. Consider TMS instead! You can learn more about TMS here.

Primary Care Questions:

Is Primary Care accepting new patients?
Yes, our Primary Care clinic is accepting new patients. However, in order to qualify for care at our clinic the patient must also be actively pursuing Behavioral Health Care services. Note, this does not mean that the Behavioral Health Care must also be provided at Sage, although that is an option. Please visit our Primary Care page for more information.
Do you offer Flu Shots?
Yes, our in-house pharmacy offers flu shots. Please call us for details.
Do you offer DOT Physicals?
We do not do DOT physicals.
Do I have to use your pharmacy or can I keep my old one?
You can use our pharmacy or your own.

Can I do medications at your clinic and therapy somewhere else?
Do you have a Psychiatrist who can help me with my Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork?
We cannot help you with your FMLA paperwork unless you are an established patient at Sage and have been for more than six months.

Addiction Treatment Program Questions:

What substances do you help people detox from?
We help people detox from the following substances:

  • Alcohol
  • Opiates (Heroin, Pain Pills)
  • Cocaine/Crack Cocaine
  • Methamphetamines
  • Cannabis
  • Nicotine
  • Prescription/Over-the-Counter (OTC) Drugs

What is the youngest age you will detox?
Generally, 18 and older. However, we can provide Detox Services to adolescents based on a thorough evaluation.
Are you offering Spravato?
Yes, you can contact our office for more information on Spravato.
Do you do Ketamine treatment?
As of December 2021, Sage no longer offers Ketamine injections.
Do you offer support groups for family members of addicts/alcoholics?
No, we do not offer family support groups for SUDS patients.
If I enter the Detox Program, do I have to do IOP?
IOP in conjunction with Detox is a common treatment referral. However, we strive to meet the unique needs of all patients. Individuals engaging in the Detox Program do complete an Psychosocial Intake Assessment with a Substance Use Disorder therapist to assess which therapy services are recommended and appropriate for them. How long is SUDS IOP?
The Substance Use Disorder IOP is 36 Sessions (3 times per week) for a total of 12 weeks.

Existing Patients Questions:

I want to transfer providers. What do I need to do?
Call our office and let us know you are interested in a transfer of care. You can then speak with an administrator who will help you find a resolution.
Can you email me my last visit note?
You can view our medical records process here.
Can I have my providers MA extension number?
You can reach your providers or their medical assistants by calling our main number and asking to be transferred to their line.
Can I come in and get a copy of my medical records?
Yes you can! You can view our medical records process here.
How long will it take for me to get my records?
It will take about two weeks to receive your medical records. You can view our medical records process here.
When will you start doing office visits?
