Andres specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and couples counseling. He also has specific training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Exposure Therapy. He is highly interested in behaviorism and how the principles apply to counseling. However, he is also interested in just about everything related to psychology and is always eager to learn more.

His goal as a counselor is to work with clients on identifying the underlying factors that are causing their problems. He believes in being a researcher and he treats his clients like a co-researcher as they work together to explore and experiment in an effort to help them build a life worth living.

In his free time he enjoys all manner of nerdy pursuits such as comics, movies, books, and writing. He also really likes being active and enjoys snowboarding, practicing yoga, and traveling. He has been to sixteen different countries and counting!
