To our valued patients,
There is no higher priority to our entire team at Sage Neuroscience Center than the safety of our patients and those around them. Given New Mexico now has known cases of COVID-19, I wanted to take a moment to assure you we are doing everything possible to stay on top of this evolving situation. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus causing COVID-19 is low.
Prevention of risk is the most important first step. As with the ongoing flu season, it is important to wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching the mouth, nose, or eyes with unwashed hands. Coughing and sneezing should be done into disposable tissue followed by hand washing. If you feel sick and are exhibiting symptoms, avoid contact with others, and call ahead to your treatment provider for recommendations.
We are aware there have been warnings against going to public places. Since we offer so many services and serve a variety of patients, we want to address this so you continue to feel comfortable and safe.
We have a cleaning service that spends four hours cleaning our facilities at the end of every day. As of this week, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures of ensuring commonly touched surfaces are cleaned multiple times a day. We clean our patient rooms with medical grade disinfectant after every appointment and will continue to do so meticulously. This includes therapy offices and we disinfect any items used by clients after each session. We have and encourage the use of hand sanitizer that is currently available in each public space as well.
Our main focus has always been about the health and well being of our patients and is all the more pertinent in a situation such as this. We will monitor guidelines for response and keep you updated to ensure the delivery of your healthcare remains as seamless as possible.
