MS Clinical Counseling Psychology – New Mexico Highlands University
Micah MacDonald is a clinical counselor specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She works with both children and adults. Her main goal with her practice is to support clients in their ability to develop and use healthy coping, social, prosocial, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, confidence, activities, safety, and self-care skills. She enjoys working with families and community members that support them. Micah said, “What I love most about my job is having the opportunity to help others. I love learning and growing from interactions with my clients.”
In her free time, Micah loves to be outdoors. She likes exercising, reading, drawing/coloring, cooking, watching movies and shows, listening to podcasts, and traveling. A fun fact about Micah is that she has five brothers and two sisters!
Micah works with adolescents and adults from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
